Eligibility for ANU Mervyn & Katalin Paterson Fellowship 2020:

  • Students enrolled full-time in a graduate research program in the Research School of Earth Sciences. Must have been enrolled in their research program for a minimum of 6 months.
  • Open to all nationals

Value of ANU Mervyn & Katalin Paterson Fellowship 2020:

  • Provides AUD 7,500 per annum.

The Committee shall select for the Scholarship a person who, in the opinion of the Committee, is at the stage in their Program where their research would be greatly enhanced by their attending a major international conference and visiting an overseas institution. Applicants are required to submit a well-defined proposal indicating how the student will benefit from the experience. If the proposal is for time at another institution, the applicant will need to provide evidence of the host institution’s acceptance. Details of any support from the host institution or other sources must also be provided. Applications should be supported by the student’s supervisor.
