PhD Fellowship in Archaeology and Cognition 2021 to promising researchers who wish to conduct research in the field of Archaeology.

Eligibility criteria: 

  • Applicants of PhD Fellowship in Archaeology and Cognition 2021 should possess a strong academic background.
  • Applicants should possess a masters degree in Archaeology or equivalent qualifications.
  • Applicants must have obtained a grade of master’s thesis and the weighted average grade of the master’s degree of at least B grade.
  • Candidates applying for PhD Fellowship in Archaeology and Cognition 2021 will be assessed on the basis of applicants’ potential for research and suitability for research.
  • Applicants should be innovative and creative and also have the ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Applicants should be fluent in both written and oral English language.
  • Applicants who address the following themes in an innovative way will be given priority:
    • Processes of change in the Viking and/or Medieval Periods
    • Early urbanization processes
    • The Archaeometry of technological processes in the Viking and/or Medieval Periods
