Hebei Province Government Scholarship

Evaluation
Scholarship winners will get the money only if they have paid tuition, application fee and health insurance.
The winners of Scholarship are not allowed to change their admission schools and majors. The period of scholarship is based on the degree programs and majors, and will not be extended.
The university will regularly review the overall performance of Scholarship students including academic scores, learning attitudes, class attendance, social behavior, and award/punishment. Our chosen scholars are people who aspire to become influential leaders in their future careers. They have wide ranging interests outside their studies and a desire to broaden their personal and academic experience in Scotland.
The scheme offers up to 50 awards, each worth £8000, towards tuition fees for any one year of full time study on a postgraduate Masters programme at any of Scotland’s higher education institutions.
Scholarships are available to citizens of the following countries: Canada, China (including Hong Kong), India, Japan, Pakistan and USA.
Saltire Scholars will also have the opportunity to take part in a programme of activities over and above their studies, including dialogue with the academic and business community in Scotland.
As one of our Saltire Scholars, you’ll act as an ambassador not only for the Saltire Scholarships programme, but also for Scotland. You can find out more about these aspects of the scholarship in the requirements page.

Shandong University Jinan Sister City Scholarship
/in Chinese Government Scholarship, Scholarships /by support service“Sister Cities of Jinan” Scholarship (referred to as “the scholarship hereafter) is set up by the Jinan Municipal Government in order to encourage international students from sister cities of Jinan (including cities that have built up international friendly relations with Jinan, referred to as “sister cities” hereafter) to come to Jinan for study and scientific research.
1. Application Eligibility
1) Applicants must be Non-Chinese citizens from sister cities of Jinan. Applicants must be in good health and be friendly to China.
2) Applicants must abide by the laws and regulations of the Chinese government, behave well and meet the entrance requirements of Shandong University.
3) Applicants must have a good attitude towards study. Applicants must not have any record for disobeying regulations of the university.
4) Only applicants that have not received other sorts of fund or scholarship could apply for the scholarship.
2. Standard of the Scholarship
The scholarship, mainly used as fund for tuition fees, includes Full Scholarship and Distinguished International Students Scholarship. Full Scholarship is awarded to full-time international students (including international students studying for a doctor’s degree, a master’s degree or a bachelor’s degree) and students of long-term non-degree programs whose programs (including language programs and professional programs) are not shorter than one academic year. Distinguished International Students Scholarship is awarded to international students participating in language programs or professional programs shorter than an academic year and short-term exchange students. One student could only be awarded with one scholarship.
3. Application Time:
The scholarship is available for application twice a year. The first period is from February to May (The scholarship will be allocated in October), and the second period is from September to November (The scholarship will be allocated in March).
4. Application method
Please look up to the attachments for requirement of the application documents and send the scanned copy via email to apply@sdu.edu.cn. All applicants shall mail the original copy of all application documents to SDU International Student Admissions Office (Address:C301 Mingde Building, Central Campus of Shandong University, No.27 South Shanda Road, Jinan, China).
None of the application documents will be sent back to applicants. Students that have already received the scholarship once could only submit the materials through a simplified procedure when applying for a second time. None of the application documents will be sent back to applicants.
5. Evaluation
In January and June each year, the list of scholarship winners will be publicized. Then, the qualification of students who are awarded will be re-verified.
6. Allocation of Scholarship
The scholarship will be allocated to students all at once before March 30 and October 30 by the university.
7. Remarks
If the student awarded is unable to register within the specified time ruled by the university owing to health problems or other personal reasons, the qualification for scholarship will be cancelled. Any scholarship winner providing fake application materials must return the scholarship if verified.
8. Full Scholarship will be used as scholarship winners’ registration fee, tuition fee, experiment fee, internship fee, accommodation costs, payments for insurance and learning materials and part of the living expenses under the administration of the university. Distinguished International Students Scholarship, given to students by the university, will be at the students’ own disposal.

Dalian University of Technology Liaoning Government Scholarship
/in Chinese Government Scholarship, Scholarships /by support service● Details of the Scholarship
1. Exempt from tuition and accommodation on campus;
2. Monthly allowance is offered as followings:
* Doctor Degree Students: 3,500 CNY/month
3. The insurance shall be implemented according to relevant regulations.
4. Applicants are expected to pay for their own international travel expenses.
● Qualifications
1. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health.
2. Applicants should abide by the laws and regulations of the Chinese government and the school rules and regulations;
3. Applicants should have a master’s degree recognized by the Ministry of Education of China, and be under the age of 40;
4. Applicants should have excellent academic performance, and obtain two professors’ recommendation;
5. Applicants should have not received other scholarships from the Chinese government at the same time.
● Application Procedures
1. Application Form for Liaoning Government Scholarship (uniformly printed by the Provincial Department of Education) one original and one copy;
2. Highest diploma and Transcripts (notarized photocopy). If applicants are university students or already employed, they shall also provide studying certificates or employment documents. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English;
3. HSK transcript (provided according to the requirements of the enrolling college) or IELTS (5.5 and above), TOEFL (80 and above), proof of English proficiency;
4. Photocopy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form (printed by Chinese quarantine authority) and Blood Test Report (one original and one copy);
5. A study or research plan (no less than 1000 words);
6. Two letters of recommendation in Chinese or English by professors or associate professors from the university which applicants graduated;
7. Acceptance Letter from DUT tutors;
8. Certificate of No Criminal Conviction;
9. Photocopy of passport.
● Application Time
November to early March of the following year
During the application period, the applicant shall apply to the School of International Education of Dalian University of Technology and mail the hard copies of the application materials (in duplicate).
